First name: We use your name (or a pseudonym) to personalise your analysis for you.

Birth data: For a precise natal chart calculation we need your date of birth, the exact time and your place of birth. Without this data an astronomically accurate calculation of your planetary positions is not possible.

Email address: Your email address is used exclusively for the secure delivery of your ordered analyses and for sending the order confirmation.

Chat messages: When using Astroly chat while logged in, your messages and birth data are processed in real time to generate a response, and the conversation is saved to your account so you can reopen it later. You can delete a conversation at any time.

Data about others: If you add a loved one's (e.g. a partner's or family member's) name and birth data to the app for a compatibility or relationship analysis, you are responsible for having the right to share that person's data with us.

Exclusive purpose: We process your data only to create and deliver your individual astrological analyses.

Quality assurance and translation: To ensure accurate and comprehensible presentation, we use modern language technologies solely to support the technical translation of content.

Services: This includes your detailed analysis reports.

Technical calculation: Your birth data is transmitted via a secure API to specialised astrological databases in order to perform the astronomical calculations for your natal chart.

Chat: During a conversation, birth data and messages are transmitted via secure APIs to external service providers (including Google Gemini) for astrological calculations and AI interpretation. For logged-in users, the conversation is stored in our database so it can be reopened later.

Payment processing: All payments are processed by our secure partner Stripe. Astroly never has access to your credit card data and does not store it.

Technical infrastructure: Account and app data (profile, conversations, subscription status) is hosted on our behalf by Convex (database) and Clerk (sign-in) as our data processors.

No sharing for marketing purposes: We do not sell your data or pass it on to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Product delivery: Your email address is used primarily to send your ordered astrological reports in digital form (PDF).

Newsletters: You will only receive marketing emails if you have explicitly confirmed this via a separate checkbox during the ordering process.

Unsubscribe: You can unsubscribe from any communication at any time with just one click.

Access and deletion: You have the right to obtain information about data stored with us at any time and to request its correction or deletion.

Storage period: Account-linked data (profile, conversations, journal, tracked loved ones, subscription history) is kept for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account yourself from the app settings ("Delete account"), which also deletes all associated data. For reports purchased without an account, we retain only the data needed to deliver the product.
